Davidson Soda Shop is turning 75; have a story to share?
The Davidson Soda Shop on Main Street in downtown Davidson has a big birthday coming up this fall - 75 years of operation. To celebrate the milestone, they're collecting Soda Shop memories, with the help of Davidson College.
Is there a favorite meal you always come back to? Did you meet someone important to you there? Was it a common setting for your friend group’s shenanigans?

The building was built in 1907 and is actually connected to the one next door. It first operated as a restaurant in the 1940s. In 1951, Mary Potts & Murray Fleming opened the business as the M&M Soda Shop. Since Mary retired in 1985, it has operated under a series of owners.
The Soda Shop plans to include memories in a tribute coming soon.
